I WOULD LIKE TO ASK YOU ABOUT....

Logo or Brand ?

A logo is a visual representation of your company, product or service. Traditionally the logo would be presented in these forms.

Typographical logo: Text styled using fonts and colour. (Example DELL)

Graphical logo: Uses a simple graphic element to convey a message (example apple)

Mixed logo: Mixes these elements to convey a message. (Example BBD)

Brand: A brand is a collection of statements that identify your company, product or event with customers and potential customers. Brand awareness is achieved through marketing and advertising. Your brand is how you are perceived by the outside world. Your brand is what you are about.

Brand Identity: Brand identity is the visual aspect of the brand. This is used to complement the brand statement and make it clearer for the viewer to understand and relate. Using the Logo as an instantly recognisable image, helps distinguish your company, product or service from your competitors. The identity is a theme and style that is carried through all promotional material and business stationary.

Who is my target audience?

Target audience is used a lot in the advertising and marketing world, this is because it’s a key player in the production of promotional material. Knowing who you are trying to influence to look at your product, service or event makes them easier to target. Some of the demographics that make up your audience may include.

  • Sex
  • Age
  • Income
  • Occupation
  • Location

With this information you can start to build a picture of your audience.

Do you provide a print service?

"YES” is the answer, I am not tied to or in agreement with any printer. This means I will always get 3 quotes from the best value suppliers on my preferred list and pass the value on to you.

what does gsm mean?

GSM stands for "grams per square meter". The higher the gsm number the thicker the paper. Choosing the right paper for the job is equally important as the information on it. Example = A luxury item/product brochure using standard copy paper for the inside and outside pages would feel flimsy and week, it would leave the reader with an impression of substandard quality which would de-value the product or item inside the brochure.

What does dpi mean?

DPI is used when describing an image, it stands for “dots per inch”. It refers to the volume of dots in a square inch, the more dots of information you have in a square inch the higher the quality of the image. This is worth bearing in mind if enlargements are required.

UK Paper sizes?

The UK conforms to the international ISO paper standards metric system. Below is a simple guide to paper sizes.
