Brief : I want a logo that shows what I stand for. It's all about finding the right balance between showing the soft and caring side of me, as well as the professional. I don't want to come across as flaky, but it's o.k. to show a little love. Perhaps ZEN-style would suit (no buddha's, ying-yang's or the like please). Still the style of it appeals to me: SIMPLE, CLEAR, INSPIRED. Ideally looking at the logo would give me a sense of peace and joy. Not too many colors or shapes. Abstract could work well. If you get inspired and you have a totally different idea based on my story - go for it! I am open to anything..

Brief : To create and design a new Logo that is inspired by these words
Contemporary - Modern - Stylish - Funky - State-of-the-art Trustworthy and Reliable - Functional - Up-to-date.
My client has a very modern approach to his art and wanted this represented in his new Logo/Identity. He wanted to steer clear of the "stereotypical" format magicians often use in their identies and logos. The final concept is an abstract mark using bright exciting colours and shapes that are closely linked to magic. The font used is a modern sans serif font that will look sharp on screen media, as well as in print.

The brief was to design an exciting image that would create impact and interest in a new UK Pinball Tournament. The design must be in keeping with the style of pinball machines and associated products. The tagline needed to be, something simple, catchy but most of all FUN.
I met this brief visually using a clear example of a chrome pinball on a dark background allowing a bright lightning strike to be seen, this represents the electric excitement the players and spectators feel. The fonts used are modern and crisp. The weight and colour of the word SLAM represents a hard, tough competition. The tagline "Have you got the Pinballs" complements the image, and adds some fun too.

Brief : The logo must be good for web buttons, favicons etc. Therefore it must be extremely simple. We want 90% visual aspect of the design to be the letters"GO.NU" (capitals preferred). The other 10% of the visual aspect should be the clever twist that you can add to make the URL memorable. The fundamental requirement is to get people to remember that they just have to type go.nu in their browser to be sent to cool new websites.
My response to the brief: Bold Crisp Text | The Mark: the yellow square is the the starting point (square environment) then the random line takes you to a Blue circle..not a blue square ? somewhere you didn't expect to go.

Brief : The product is a bag made from 100% natural materials. The bag and its variants are targeted at tech savvie individuals ages 15-30 to protect there tech gadgets, but with the ability to individualize it with badges hence GADGET-BAG becomes BADGET BAG.
I first looked at what makes bag identifiable using simple lines. The handle was my final choice. Using the handle line idea mixed with a modern sans serif font looked good. To link the handle with the font I had to create some bespoke font letters (d & b). The brief was changed mid project and so I produced a new concept

Brief : This was the 3rd design project I have worked on with Sean.
Sean needed a hard working business card that would be handed to clients at events as well as being attached to promotional material. The card must have a well polished, smart appearance to reflect the professionalism Sean has towards his work.
The final card uses subtle reference to the clients initials SA bold on the front and quietly on the back. Using UV varnish to create a shiny contrast against the matt background helps make his name and Identity stand out. Printed on 350gsm Crisp Card and UV varnish .

Brief : The brief was to update the site using basic SEO and re-build the site using HTML and CSS , removing the 95% flash element but keeping the feel of the original website. Part of the update was to supply the viewer with new images of products and information about them and the company.
I updated the site with a complete re-build from scratch. The client provided over 200 new unprocessed images to be used. Working with the client selecting the best images to represent the stunning pieces. Creating category splash screens to give the site a fresh new feel without removing the original style of the site. Making it quick, easy to use and searchable.

Brief : To create a brochure that is sharp and modern in design that is aimed at a corporate market. The design must not use any stereotypical images of magicians or asscociated cliches.
I decided that a 210mm X 210mm 8 page booklet was the best format for this brochure, after researching his competitors and looking at thier marketing material (which was quite bland if im honest).
I created a grid sytem that would keep the style of the brochure together, whilst allowing me to design unique defined service catagories, making it easier for the viewer to understand the services on offer.

Brief : Illusion, Magical, Mystery, Stylish and Classy. These were some of the words I was given to create the image for Sean and Mist Illusions Brand.
This show was going on tour to some Arabic/Islamic contries, and so caution had to be taken when displaying his attractive assistant on the poster.
Creating a magical, intrigueing back drop for the character shots using blurred images of fire and water, mixed with a striking image of his assistant worked brilliantly.

Brief : Design a new leaflet to attract new and existing customers. Key words are that of traditional craftsmanship being used for both modern and classic designs.
The final design uses images of some of the pieces put in a very solid grid with highlights. A close up is used to show the details and quality of the work. I chose a simple colour scheme that will allow the colour of the timber used in the furniture to stand out.
The flow of the design leads your eyes down to the "call to action" and contact details.

Brief : Design a new poster for the SuperTroupers Show. Using images of the concert. It must be fun,eye catching and appeal to a wide audience. The final image must give clear information about the show and testimonials. The Supertroupers logo was not supplied so I had to recreate it using a supplied image for referance.
I chose a black to purple gradient on a starburst as a background. I re-grouped the bands pictures and placed them in order of reading. The overall style is clean simple but with a retro feel because of the nature of the show.
The same image group and starburst were used to create the web graphic, it was also compressed making it web ready before supplying it.
